Legado del Moncayo
Campo de Borja, Spain
$14 per bottle | $151.20 per case
Our Wine of the Week is a bright Grenache from Spain. Legado del Moncayo is made using 100 percent Grenache grapes from 40-year-old bush vines grown on a parcel that lies on the side of an extinct volcano. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel, then bottled directly from the tanks to maintain the lively fruit flavors of the wine. Cherry is the dominant note on the palate with warming spices adding depth and character. This easy drinking crowd-pleaser will pair well with pulled pork or perloo.
