Minimus Rose of Gamay
Eola Amity Hills Oregon
$20.00 per bottle

As big fans of Gamay from Beaujolais, it was nice to meet a guy named Chad who makes a rosé from our beloved grape out in the Willamette Valley that knocked our socks off. Minimus is like nothing the Pacific Northwest has ever seen and has released wines from Gamay rosè, to Pètillant Naturel from Müller Thurgau. A strident believer in organic farming, Chad is one of the most passionate producers out there and his wines certainly reflect it. Unfiltered and unfined, this wine pours pale pink with intense aromas of sour cherry, tart raspberry with subtle notes of black pepper with wonderful minerality and acidity.

Lapierre Raisins Gaulois
Morgon, France
$16.00 per bottle

Debatably one of the greatest values we have ever rolled out for a Wine of the Week, Domaine Marcel Lapierre produces some of the best wines in Beaujolais and we are very happy to offer the 2014 Raisins Gaulois. The talent of Marcel's children Mathieu and Camille is truly exposed as they continue their father's work of making exceptional Gamay. Largely all from the cru of Morgon, this crisp light bodied red exhibits wonderful bright red fruit flavors of raspberry and cranberry with subtle earth and spice notes. An ideal BBQ wine and a sure hit at any pool party.

Hecht & Bannier Cotes de Provence Rosé
Grenache, Cinsault & Syrah
$19.00 per bottle

It seems like the summer heat is in full swing now. What better way to combat such rising temperatures than with cold provencal rosé? This week we are featuring a special on Hecht & Bannier Rosé from the foothills of Montagne Sainte-Victoire. This region translates into the wines quite wonderfully, exhibiting a vivacious minerality while the cinsault that is grown right along the Mediterranean offers a subtle salinity and anise flavor. Altogether, this rose is bright and expressive with delicate purple flower, fennel, and crushed raspberry - A perfect pairing with a good ol' Greek Salad or Orzo Salad.

Henri Bourgeois
Petit Bourgeois Sauvignon Blanc
Loire Valley France
$14.00 per bottle

It's not too often we come across an awesome value from a family run winery that is in its 10th generation so we are very happy to put Henri Bourgeois Petit in your glass for only $14.00 per bottle. Wonderfully aromatic with floral and citrus nuances, bright crisp acidity is enveloped by distinct flavors of crushed green apple and gooseberry with passion fruit lingering on the pallet. Halibut steak with lemon butter anyone?
