Pitaud Cognac VS
80 Proof | 750mL

At the beginning of the 20th century Albert Pitaud began producing high quality cognac in the Petite Champagne area of France. Giving richness and finesse to this spirit, Pitaud incorporates high acidity Petite Champagne and Borderies grapes grown exclusively in the Delimited Region. Differentiated by the temperate climate and limestone soil in the region this cognac is made from traditional methods dating back to the 1500's when French farmers began distilling white wine in the colder months from November to March. The Pitaud VS is a perfectly blended eaux-de-vie with a light honey nose characterized by floral rose peddles and vegetable pine needle nuances. Rich vanilla tannins drive the palate with a bouquet of citrus, orange peel, and licorice making Pitaud VS an exceptional cognac.  - Casey Teague, Whisk(e)y Specialist, H&F Bottle Shop
