Spruce Gin
750mL 90pf
$42 per bottle

The brewery-turned-distillery Rogue, out of Oregon, brings us spirits true to their name. Unusual flavor profiles and experiments yield some intriguing results: like in their Spruce Gin. Killer packaging is all too endearing, but it's what is in the bottle that keeps ya coming back. Naturally, spruce and light juniper lift off the gin first, greeting your olfactory with a pleasant candied-root start; think lemon-ginger candies. The palate, though, is like stepping through the looking glass. Cucumber, grains of paradise, and a lingering (but not-too-spicy) ginger element play well with citrus to create a            refreshing gin. Enjoy in a Gimlet, or better yet,               try a French 75!

Big Gin
47% ABV
750ml
Seattle, Washington
$42 per bottle

Big Gin is precisely what it claims: a big, juniper-forward, highly herbaceous gin, out of Seattle. This Peat Barrel finish envelops the brighter citrus notes in savory goodness. The nose starts with genepy and basil, and once this gin hits your palate the light smokiness of that 4-month-rest in Westland Peated Single Malt barrels starts to peak through. This gin has the classic barrel-rested, lingering oak finish spiked with cardamom and vanilla. We highly suggest making a Bijoux Cocktail or Pegu Club for the adventurous drinker!

Maurin Quina Cherry Liqueur
Le Puy, France
750ml | $39 | 16%abv

This unqiue cherry liqueur was made famous by the iconic green devil adorning the bottle.  While the artwork is indeed enticing, the ruby-red liqueur inside the bottle is real reason you should add this to your repertoire of go-to aperitifs.  Since 1884, Maurin Quina has been produced in the charming town of Le Puy-en-Velay from a base of fortified white wine.  The addition of wild cherries, almonds, and quinine add a range of sweet and sour fruit flavors with subtle herbal and nutty notes.  Perfect served slightly chilled.

Compass Box This Is Not A Luxury Whisky
Blended Scotch Whisky | 106.2 Proof | 750 mL
NEW LIMITED RELEASE

Inspired by Belgian surrealist artist René Magritte’s 1929 concept piece “Ceci n’est Pas une Pipe”, a surrealist painting which challenges people’s perceptions of reality, Compass Box This Is Not A Luxury Whisky, encourages people to reconsider what makes a luxury whisky luxurious.

This blended Scotch whisky is made from Glen Ord 19 year Single Malt, Caol Ila 30 year Single Malt, Girvan 40 year Grain Whisky, and Strathclyde 40 year Grain Whisky. Aromas of toffee, freshly cracked coconuts and sweet flowers lead into floral notes that grow as it sits in the glass. On the palate: apples, pears and earthy peat with smoke that is quickly replaced with malt and spice – light fruit cake with clove and nutmeg, lemony cardamom and singed cinnamon sticks. This is a limited release; numbering just 4,992 bottles worldwide.

Please contact the H&F Bottle Shop at (404) 841-4070, if you are interested in purchasing a bottle.

AMADOR DOUBLE BARREL
43.4% ABV | 750mL | $46
SELECTED BY CASEY TEAGUE

A small-batch production with a two barrel aging technique, this bourbon assumes it's flavor profile by aging up to 10 years in New American Oak before continuing to age for 6 months in barrels used to make Napa Valley Chardonnay. The result is a well-balanced, complex bourbon with notes of vanilla, oak, brown sugar, and spice. Light wood on the nose is followed by nutmeg, citrus, a hint of butteriness, fresh fruit and minerality.

HUDSON BIG BABY BOURBON
46% ABV | 750mL | $45
SELECTED BY DAN LINDSAY

Made from 100% heirloom corn sourced from local farms within 10 miles from the distillery, this bourbon is aged in 14 gallon oak barrels for only 18-24 months then blended a combination of  barrels to get the desired flavor profile. This nose opens with a fresh, splintered oak, vanilla, and fragrant floral aromas followed by corn mid-palate with peppermint and toasted wood before the spices and tannin emerge on the finish.

45% ABV | 750mL | $92
SELECTED BY RAYMOND DILLARD

An exceptional addition to distiller Trey Zoeller’s arsenal, this bourbon is aged 6-8 years on a boat that travels the world, stopping at 31 ports. Sloshing in the barrels while seaborne results is an extra-mature bourbon with notes of caramel and citrus on the nose, followed by tastes of  brine, oak, and vanilla. The finish is nice and mellow. You don't want to miss the boat on this truly unique bourbon.

BRECKENRIDGE BOURBON
45% ABV | 750mL | $57
SELECTED BY DAN LINDSAY

A true craft distiller, Breckenridge out of Colorado completely produces in house; from initial mashes to spirit distillation.
They even dilute their casks with melted snow. The nose fumes with youthful zest: cinnamon, bright mint, and sun-warmed green grass. The palate explodes with a sweet cinnamon burst and corn pops, while the oak melds into the rye-high finish. This is an outstanding bourbon!

OLD MEDLEY
12 YEAR
43.4% ABV | 750mL | $55

Charlie Medley, the latest in the line of Medley family distillers, has delivered the best of his  'high corn' bourbons. On a visit last year, Charlie's son, Sam, told us that his great-great-grandfather hated rye- and for this reason one will not see very much rye in any of their whiskies. Being corn heavy you will find sweeter aromas highlighted with vanilla, caramel, maple syrup, chocolate and toasted coffee beans. Caramel-chocolate hits you right away on the palate and then the spice elements burst forth.

HILLROCK SOLERA
AGED BOURBON
46.3% ABV
| 750mL | $100

Hillrock Estate is a working farm in upstate New York committed to the concept of a true grain-to-glass distillery. They grow, malt, ferment and distill all on the same property. They start with a 60/40-mash bill of corn and rye and then use a Solera system (a fractional blending process) to create a blend of flavors and textures during aging. Before bottling, the whiskey spends over a month in used Oloroso sherry casks to add even more depth and complexity, along with gorgeous color.

GOLDEN MOON
AMER DIT PICON
39% ABV | 750ml | $54

It was a sad day in American history when importation of the European liqueur Amer Picon ceased some twenty years ago. Aptly named (Amer, translates as "bitter" in French) the bold spirit has assertive flavors of citrus pith and quinine. Today, Colorado's Golden Moon Distillery replicates the very first recipe; crafting well-balanced orange bitters that work perfectly in the legendary Basque cocktail 'Picon Punch' or on its own over ice.

Montanya
Oro Rum
Crested Butte, Colorado
$40

"Rum is made from pure sugar cane, in a process that is partly science and mostly art." Montanya President and co-founder, Karen Hoskin, brings these words to life in every step of the rum making process; using sugar cane sourced from Louisiana fermented after just one press. The spirit is then distilled over an open flame in a Portuguese copper Alembic still and filtered through coconut leaves before being rested and bottled. Montanya rums are art personified - beautiful grassy notes with hints of coconut and banana; finishing with a burst of vanilla and a dash of black pepper. Excellent for sipping or mixed into your favorite rum-based cocktail.
