ANDERSON VALLEY
Bourbon Barrel Stout

22oz | $11 | 6.9% abv

The fine folks of Anderson Valley
have done something pretty amazing; taking the rich chocolate, roasted barley characteristics of a stout and wrapped it in the fine qualities of a good bourbon. Aged three months in bourbon barrels, imparting woody and vanilla notes on top of the aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee and espresso. Ideal food pairings include beef sliders with caramelized onions, pulled pork tacos and beer floats with espresso ice cream.

Creature Comforts
Athena
Berlinner Weisse
$10.50 | 4.5% ABV

We just can't get enough of Creature Comforts; and for good reason, the beer is delicious. Currently, we have Athena, their Berlinner Weisse, in stock. It's a little sour and lemony with just the right amount of carbonation. Some might say it's a "step up from your everyday beer," but you can't get it every day, so drink 'em while you got 'em!

 Orpheus Brewing
Peace.War.Truth.Lie
5% ABV | American IPA
12 oz. | $1.75 per can

In our experience, it's easy to get lost in the quest for the hoppiest, most aggressive, IPA. Orpheus jolts this trend in their newest brew, Peace.War.Truth.Lie, by creating a lovely and delicate ale that showcases the tropical fruit and citrus notes from the Mandarina Bavaria and Wakatu hops. This seasonal release is sessionable, refreshing, and pairs perfectly with chargrilled shrimp and mango salsa. Beach beer at its best! - Morganne Lee, Assistant Store Manager, H&F Bottle Shop

 Westbrook Brewing Company Gose
4% ABV | Gose
12 oz. | $2 per can

There's something so American about taking a classic and making it your own. Westbrook's Gose is a perfect example. They took a traditional but nearly extinct style of sour wheat beer, brewed it using coriander and sea salt and the result became a highly sought after, super refreshing beer. It's a little sharp and salty, just a touch spicy and perfectly dry. Oh, and sour...so sour, in the best way possible. This beer is the perfect pairing for oysters or a fresh salad with tangy vinaigrette, and it's pool-friendly in Westbrook's beautifully designed can. - Morganne Lee, Assistant Store Manager, H&F Bottle Shop

 Cerveceria Centro Americana
Famosa
5% ABV | Lager
12 oz. | $1.50 per bottle

As a staff, we collect micro brews and check off tasting lists with the best of them, but sometimes just want "Beer Flavored Beer," as cold as possible, in a can.  Famosa is a low alcohol lager made in Guatemala, yellow in color and delightfully bubbly. Tasting notes? Beer. Just Beer. It tastes like beer you drink on a lawn mower, by the pool, and especially with fried chicken. It's also great sitting next to a shot of whiskey and stuck in a whole chicken for grilling. Cheers to summer, friends. - Morganne Lee, Assistant Store Manager, H&F Bottle Shop

Brouwerj Het Anker
Gouden Carolus Hopsinjpoor
8% ABV | Belgian IPA
11.2 oz. | $5 per bottle

Father's Day calls for special occasion beer. Gouden Carolus' Belgian IPA is a beautifully prickly and foamy brew at first sip. When served ice cold, the beer is fruit forward with a touch of musty funk, but as it warms hops show themselves, transforming the palate into an herb garden party with a sharp dry finish. This is great beer for the 'Beer Nerd' Dad as well as the Strict IPA Loyalist. It's also available as a single selection in our 'Make Your Own 6-pack' program! - Morganne Lee, Assistant Store Manager, H&F Bottle Shop

Ballast Point
Grapefruit Sculpin
7% ABV | IPA

We were lucky to receive a small shipment of Ballast Point's award winning Grapefruit Sculpin and it just so happens to pair perfectly with a shot of Campari, so it's a no-brainer for Negroni Week. It's hop foward, refreshingly bitter, and zesty with a slight juicy finish. Three Taverns Brewery
Le Peche Mode
6% ABV |  Peach Saison
$6 per 22 oz. bottle

Our friends at Three Taverns in Decatur took a quintessential saison and added a little local flair by incorporating Georgia peach juice from Lane Orchards in the fermentation process. While the peaches are subtle on the nose, the beer itself is super dry, with just a touch of funk on the finish. This beer pairs beautifully with food, including salads, prosciutto, and hard cheese! - Morganne Lee, Assistant Store Manager, H&F Bottle Shop

Southbound Brewing Co.
Scattered Sun Witbier
5.2% ABV | 12oz
$1.75 per bottle

We love Georgia Breweries, this you know, so we gladly welcomed Savannah's Southbound Brewery when they launched in Atlanta late April. Their Witbier is a solid representation of a classic style, with coriander and citrus peel to spice up the crisp, clean palate. At only 5.2 % ABV, this bright brew is an easy day time tipple. Grab a six-pack (or two!) for your BBQ, pool party, or summer festival this weekend! - Morganne Lee, Assistant Store Manager, H&F Bottle Shop

Dogfish Head Aprihop
7% ABV | Fruit IPA
$2.50 per bottle

Before you throw all fruit beers in the same basket, give the bright and refreshing Fruit IPA from Dogfish Head Brewery a try. This beer has the perfect balance of bitter and sweet, just a whisper of juicy apricot flavor, and a crisp, hopped finish. And, it smells so good! Apricots and hops seem an unlikely match, but play together beautifully in this beer. - Morganne Lee, Assistant Store Manager, H&F Bottle Shop

Duchesse de Bourgogne
6% ABV | Flanders Red Ale
$5.50 per bottle

If mom is a beer drinker, treat her to a classic sour this Sunday. The Duchesse is a blend of 8 and 18 month old beers aged in oak casks. It's ruddy brown in color and, at first taste, has slight fruity wine-like notes, but finishes tart and wheaty. An excellent introduction to the wondrous world of sours, this beer is great with decadent food (ie- all brunch). Serve it in a goblet fit for a Queen!  - Morganne Lee, Assistant Store Manager, H&F Bottle Shop

Red Hare Brewing
National Common
5.5% ABV | California Common
$1.75 per can

A year ago, Holeman and Finch Public House’s Chef Linton Hopkins and Red Hare Brewing Company’s master brewer, Bobby Thomas set out to create a beer that perfectly complimented the beloved H&F Burger. The result was National Common, Thomas’ take on a turn-of-the-century California Common. This all-American beer style uses lager yeast and lighter malts, but is brewed at an ale temperature imparting an exceptionally smooth mouth feel and warm, golden hue. Herbaceous, slightly minty hops add just enough bitterness to provide balance and a clean finish. The beer, currently featured on tap at Holeman and Finch Public House, is served in cans at all three H&F Burger stands at Turner Field, and is now offered at H&F Bottle Shop.

Stiegl Brewery
Stiegl Radler Grapefruit
2.5% ABV | 16.9 oz
$2.50 per can

In Germany, a radler is a drink made from a mixture of beer and either German-style sparkling lemonade or other fruit soda, similar to a shandy. Light and low in alcohol, radlers are wonderful for the long, lazy days of summer when you want to sip on something refreshing without hitting the fainting couch. Stiegl's grapefruit version of the drink is made with 40 percent Stiegl-Goldbräu, an already low in alcohol Oktoberfest-style beer, and 60 percent grapefruit soda. This thirst quenching combination tastes exactly like you'd imagine - crisp and flavorful, with a lightly bitter bite backing its fruity front. If you're thirsty for grapefruit goodness, but looking for a drink that packs a little more punch, try dropping an ounce and a half of Espolòn Reposado Tequila in a glass of Stiegl Radler. It adds a little creaminess and becomes an instant summer time classic.

Creature Comforts Brewing Company
Tropicalia
6.5% ABV | IPA
$1.75 per can

This beer is a complete success. Can-tastic! Juicy, lush fruit aromas give way to a refreshing citrusy charge, which culminates in a finish just bitter enough to remind you it's an IPA. We'd say it's perfect for spring, but it's really perfect any time of year. Brand new to ATL in its canned form, this beer is a promising harbinger from this rising star of a brewery in Athens, GA. Kudos, Creature Comforts! - Dan Bollinger, Beer Buyer, H&F Bottle Shop

Shmaltz Brewing Company
He'Brew Messiah
5.2% ABV | Nut Brown Ale
$2 per bottle | $12 per 6 pack

This rich, bold nut brown ale from Shmaltz Brewing Company is this week's star player. Versatile, delicious, and kosher! It pours a deep, dark brown that approaches a lighter porter and its tan head is a great indication of the toffee notes within. Hints of chocolate and roasted grain set up a nice balance with a solid hop profile. L'Chaim! - Dan Bollinger, Beer Buyer, H&F Bottle Shop
