In Germany, a radler is a drink made from a mixture of beer and either German-style sparkling lemonade or other fruit soda, similar to a shandy. Light and low in alcohol, radlers are wonderful for the long, lazy days of summer when you want to sip on something refreshing without hitting the fainting couch. Stiegl's grapefruit version of the drink is made with 40 percent Stiegl-Goldbräu, an already low in alcohol Oktoberfest-style beer, and 60 percent grapefruit soda. This thirst quenching combination tastes exactly like you'd imagine - crisp and flavorful, with a lightly bitter bite backing its fruity front. If you're thirsty for grapefruit goodness, but looking for a drink that packs a little more punch, try dropping an ounce and a half of Espolòn Reposado Tequila in a glass of Stiegl Radler. It adds a little creaminess and becomes an instant summer time classic.
